London, Let's Get Rewild Week 7: Climate Action

Thanks for being part of London, Let's Get Rewild. This week's theme was London Climate Action Week, and we encouraged people to adapt their gardens for climate-change resilience. We saw how your London garden could become a watery oasis, help you beat the heat and combat climate change. Create a relaxing rain garden with rills, water butts, ponds and wet-tolerant planting. This watery haven will reduce your flood risk. 20% of homes are at risk of overheating. Add more plants to your garden to keep cool in our changing climate. Every tree stores carbon in its trunk, roots and the soil. Fast-growing rowan and silver birch can help tackle climate change quickly.
