Let's Get Rewild: WaterThanks for being part of London, Let's Get Rewild. This week's theme was National Marine Week, and we encouraged people to add water features to their gardens. We saw how your London garden could save you money by saving water, be a magnet for thirsty animals and be a sensory paradise. Hosepipes use 1,000 litres of water per hour, ramping up your water bill. Get a rainwater butt for watering plants and washing the car. All wildlife needs water to survive, which is scarce in hot summers and cold winters. Offer fresh water in a dish, bird bath or pond. The sound of running water is calming for our senses. Add a babbling fountain or a flowing rill to create gentle movement.
