September 2019 wild makeover tip: hedge

    in Wild Makeover Blog

Plant a hedge as a boundary or screen. Create year-round interest and habitat value with blossom, fruit or berries, autumn colour and winter foliage - and consider native species, like Hornbeam or Crab Apple. You'll be providing food, shelter and nest sites for birds and helping hedgehogs get about. See our Resources pages for more Activity and Product ideas, Species and Habitat info.
